Elle has arrived in Cannes, France, ahead of the Cannes International Film Festival! She has two films set to premiere over there this month: The Beguiled and How To Talk To Girls At Parties. Now that we know Elle’s joined L’Oréal Paris as their International Spokesperson, she’s likely to be even busier in Cannes than we previously thought. Elle has been named the new International Spokesperson for L’Oréal Paris! She’ll join the other “faces” of the brand at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, where she is also set to premiere the films How To Talk To Girls at Parties and The Beguiled. Elle commented “Excited does not even begin to describe how thrilled I am to be a L’Oréal Paris spokesperson. L’Oréal always strikes the perfect balance between creativity and beauty”. Seeing as Elle hasn’t been featured in any specific campaigns by the brand as of yet, our best guess is these are from a photoshoot in celebration of her joining the team. Aren’t they beautiful?

Elle is next month’s VOGUE cover girl! She was photographed by Annie Leibovitz and the story was written by Nathan Heller, who accompanied her on a haunted tour of New Orlean’s French Quarter. The entire article is very entertaining, specially when it describes certain traits of Elle’s personality we have grown fond of, such as her old soul manners and her confusion when it comes to technology. The story also features a video called “Elle Fanning’s fan fantasy”, which is basically your pun dream come true. You can tell the story of Elle Fanning through the things she does, but also through the things she does not do. Fanning would rather not sit still, for instance. She does not tweet.
